35th Reunion Newsletter (March 14th)

Hello Class ’81!! COME to our 35th Reunion!!!

Noon, Wednesday 25 May to 5pm, Sunday 29 May, 2016

Almost 100 classmates have been working all year to create a range of Reunion activities and events that will speak to everyone! Check these out on our working schedule online.  Want to be part of the reunion, beyond attending? Keep reading to see how. And please email us if you have questions, or to share with us what we can do to welcome you back.

Registration will open in a few weeks. We have one goal- to have the largest 35th reunion attendance ever!! Please come and urge your friends to come as well. We’re really looking forward to seeing you in May!

Volunteers Needed!

Programming: Help organize programming and nominate participants around these topics: Contact Kate@HR1981.com

  • Impact (sustainability, education, health care, global issues)
  • Glimpses (personal stories, discoveries, transformations, or obsessions)
  • Encryption, security and civil liberties
  • Free speech and Civil Discourse
  • Reinvention/Relaunch (new careers, new endeavors, new priorities, new challenges)
  • Informal meet-ups (running, yoga, foosball, etc.)


Memorial Service:
We will honor our deceased classmates with a memorial service at 9am, May 27 in Mem Church. Singers and Ushers needed for Memorial Service. Contact susiekmezzo@HR1981.com.

  • SINGERS: The 1981 Reunion Choir is recruiting volunteer singers to lead hymns and sing one or two anthems during the service. All voice parts are needed and all are welcome to join the choir. Music will be available several weeks before the service, and there will be a rehearsal on Thursday evening.
  • USHERS: Needed! Ushers will be asked to report to Memorial Church at 8:30 on Friday, May 27.
